2023 Calendar of Events
The Central Coast Aero Club is proud to host numerous events throughout the flying year. From flyouts to theory courses and social events, there’s always something on. Don’t forget to check back regularly as events are added.
Regular events include:
– Club Competition: The competitions are not only a great social day, but an excellent opportunity to keep your flight skills current, honed and tested. Competition requirements vary each month, but could include short field operations, glide approaches, flap failures, basic instrument flying and much more. A BBQ lunch is provided on the day.
– Fly-Outs: Our fly-outs involve multiple aircraft, instructors and students flying to a destination for an overnight stay. Students can complete some of their PPL or CPL training along the way while also getting to explore the country. Those who are licenced can also join in for some revision dual navigation training or by hiring an aircraft for solo flight.
– Theory Courses: Our RPL & PPL theory courses run regularly through the year and cover all the knowledge required for the applicable theory exams. Click here for more details.
