This article captures one of the most ambitious development proposals associated with Warnervale Airport during the 1990s. Rather than treating the aerodrome simply as a local flying facility, the proposal placed it at the centre of a much larger commercial and urban development incorporating a private university, hotel, golf course, residential development and aviation-related industry.
