Simulator Experiences

Our fully CASA approved Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) is used daily to keep our professional pilots current and for training pilots for advanced qualifications such as Instrument and Night Ratings. We now offer our simulator to the general public for an experience they couldn’t normally find on their home PC setup!

Whether you’re looking for the ultimate team-building adventure with colleagues or some fun with friends, all you need to do is select a Flight Simulator Experience then get a few mates together for some fun (ideally 4 people per booking). We have five experiences to choose from:

FINAL APPROACH

Late afternoon landing at Sydney Runway 16 Left – with Sydney harbour gliding by your left wingtip as you start from a 15 mile final approach – $70 (10 minutes)

SYDNEY TOUR

Takeoff from Sydney, fly a quick lap of the city and harbour, followed by a landing – $95 (15 minutes)

KEEP IT LOW

Starting at Sydney Heads, fly your twin-engined aeroplane along the harbour, UNDER the Harbour Bridge and see if you can perfect a landing at Sydney! – $95 (15 minutes)

IN-FLIGHT EMERGENCY

Overhead Sydney Harbour at 5,000′ in windy, cloudy conditions, then the engine fails. Can you make it to a safe landing at Sydney? – $95 (15 minutes)

CHARTER FLIGHT

You have been asked to fly a passenger from Warnervale to Sydney Airport – now is your time to shine as a professional aviator! – $195 (35 minutes)

Terms and Conditions

Gift Vouchers / Flight Experience Vouchers are:

Not redeemable in any other form; and
Not transferable to another person, except when authorised in writing by us.
It is the responsibility of the voucher recipient to book their flight time with us. We are generally available 7 days a week, but please contact us at least one – two weeks in advance to book your flight.
All vouchers are valid for use within three (3) years from the date of purchase. Once a voucher has expired, it has been deemed as forfeited.

General conditions

Flight bookings are weather dependent and may need to be postponed at short notice.
Flights will only be conducted at the discretion of the Pilot in command.
Booking change requests must be received 48 hours prior to the scheduled flight time or the gift voucher will be forfeited and no refund given.
If you fail to arrive for a booking the gift certificate will be forfeited and no refund given.
If the weather is not suitable for your flight, we will endevour to call you prior to your flight to reschedule.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for gift vouchers purchased.

TERMS FOR FLIGHTS

TRIAL INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHTS

One person per flight only – due to CASA regulations in relation to training, these flights do not permit the carraige of additional passengers.
Minimum age 12 years (this is a general guide and at our discretion).
Weight limit of 90kg and height restriction of 6ft4in – if above these limits we can conduct the flight in a Cessna 172, however additional charges apply.
There is no maximum age limit, as long as the person can reasonably get themselves into and out of the aircraft.

SCENIC JOYFLIGHTS

Up to 3 passengers per flight, additional weight restrictions may apply (legal restrictions apply)
No minimum age limit, children under 5yrs of age must be in a suitable restraint.
There is no maximum age limit, as long as the person can reasonably get themselves into the aircraft.

SYDNEY HARBOUR JOYFLIGHTS

Conditions as per scenic joyflights.
The ability to enter the harbour is dependant on an Air Traffic Control Clearance, and we will not know if this is possible until airborne.

AEROBATIC FLIGHTS

One person per flight only.
Minimum age 12 years (this is a general guide and at our discretion).
There is no maximum age limit, as long as the person can reasonably get themselves into and out of the aircraft.
